Links

Traveling across the Internet can be a painful process, especially when you don't know your way. That's why you need pages like these, for links to find good sights. So here goes nothing.

mintycoconut.tripod.com If you like my website, there's the remote chance you may like my friend Jessica's site. Although I guarantee nothing.

radiatedmonkey.tripod.com Another of my friends' sights, this one is only slightly more normal than Jessica's, and is thoroughly disturbing if you're not prepared.

www.thesims.com If you play The Sims, then this is the website you need to go to. Made by Maxis, the maker of The Sims, it has weekly updates and downloadable stuff. You need to sign up to download anything, though.

www.google.ca The ultimate search engine, I think. And this version is the Canadian one, so you can get Canadian pages instead of all the American ones.

www.about.com This is a database of websites, and you can search any topic and get vast amounts of knowledge out of the sight. The only problem is the plague of ads you get, but they can be closed or ignored.

www.techtv.com If you have satellite or cable, you might get TechTV, a feed from the US which covers all aspects of technology. Their website has tons of stuff - that's where I found Kazaa Lite K++. If you've got problems, they probably have answers.

www.ukma.kiev.ua If you want to learn a new language, Ukrainian probably isn't the best place to start, but it is the most beneficial in a community like Lamont. This website gives you a clear walkthrough of the language.

www.gamespy.com Normally I would tell you to check out Gamespot for all your information on new games for computers and any other console, but my view has changed. Gamespot requires you pay to view the good stuff, so if I were you, I'd stick to GameSpy.

www.hypergurl.com Yes, it may sound a little like a sissy site, but it isn't. This website gives you all kinds of HTML codes, perfect if you are making your own website. I definitely recommend it.

www.ei.educ.ab.ca/sch/lme It is a painfully long address, but it's a school website - Lamont Elementary School, in fact. Web design must run in the family, because that site was made by my mother. It's got all kinds of cool stuff from Dreamweaver, which she actually knows how to use. But at least I know HTML (ooh, isn't that impressive?)

www.oddsim.com Another The Sims site, this one has some of the best items I have found. They're hacked, some pulled off of The Sims Online, so they are high quality. I recommend the Hat Rack for your first download, to see just how neat some of his items are. It's a Tripod site, so it sometimes crashes from bandwidth problems.

www.simslice.com Yes, another Sims site. Also a hacked item site, these are more original, but don't look quite as good. The best of all is the Rejuvenation Chamber and Slice City, 'a game within a game'. I've downloaded it, and it works well. Just follow the instructions carefully.

gypsyhailey.blogspot.com A good friend of mine, Hailey, has started a blog at the listed address. It's not much yet, but I expect it to get better. Take a look!

www.gamefaqs.com If you're into games, this is the website to go for all your cheating needs. Walkthroughs, codes, and information at your fingertips. What could be better?

www.1001fonts.com Here you can download fonts of all kinds for free. I especially love the movie and brand name fonts, since you can recognize them from everyday things.

javascriptkit.com Some good old Java codes that you can copy and then paste into your site's HTML, and get some cool effects. I recommend it.

www.java-scripts.com More Java codes that you can copy and paste. This is the source for my games page, and there are more things hiding around the site. Just paste them into your HTML.

www.space.com If you're into the sky, space, and beyond, Space.com is a good place to look. Especially for information on Mars' close encounter with Earth this summer.

As I surf the web, I will post up more sites here to visit. Lamont High School's site may get put on this list IF THEY EVER UPDATE IT! And yes, that was a hint. Many of the websites will be completely useless to you. I'll see if I can add some good websites I know about that have Flash games. Those are the best - trust me. Oh, and just for your safety, don't download the teleporter.
